استشاري جراحات العمود الفقري للاطفال و الكبار ، دكتوراه جراحة العظام والعمود الفقري طب قصر العيني و خبير حاصل علي الزماله الكنديه في جراحات اصلاح تشوهات العمود الفقري للاطفال و المراهقين من جامعه بريتش كولومبيا العريقه.

تخرج الدكتور مايكل عاطف من كليه الطب بتقدير عام امتياز مع مرتبة الشرف و التحق بالتدريب علي جراحات العظام المختلفه بمستشفيات القاهره ثم حصل علي درجة ماجيستير جراحة العظام من كلية الطب جامعة عين شمس. عشق الدكتور مايكل بجراحات العمود الفقري ادي الي استكمال تدريبه علي جراحات العمود الفقري و بخاصة جراحات تشوهات العمود الفقري المعقده بمستشفيات القاهره ثم التحق بعدها بزمالة تشوهات العمود الفقري لصغار السن بجامعة بريتش كولومبيا بكندا و هي احدي برامج تدريب الجراحين القليله علي مستوي العالم المتخصصه في جراحات تشوهات العمود الفقري و كأول مصري يلتحق بهذا البرنامج المرموق حيث استطاع المشاركه في اكثر من مائه جراحه معقده و باستخدام احدث التقنيات لعلاج تشوهات العمود الفقري المختلفه.
ثم حصل علي دكتوراه جراحة العظام و العمود الفقري- كليه طب قصر العيني- جامعة القاهره و برساله عن استخدام المناظير في جراحات الانزلاق الغضروفي القطني. هذا بجانب عشق الدكتور مايكل للتدريس و الانشطه الاكاديميه و التي تشمل التدريس بكليه الطب - جامعة بريتش كولومبيا- كندا ثم تدريس جراحة العمود الفقري بقسم جراحة العظام بجامعه نيو جيزه و بجانب القاء المحاضرات عن حراحات العمود الفقري بمؤتمرات محليه و عالميه.
يتميز دكتور مايكل بخبرته الممتازة التي تمتد إلى سنوات عديده في مجال جراحات العمود الفقري.حيث يجمع بين الخبرة العلمية والمهارات الجراحية العالية.كما يسعى دائمًا لتحسين خدماته الطبية و الجراحيه باستخدام أحدث التقنيات وتوفير أعلى مستويات الجودة في الرعاية الصحية.

Consultant in spinal surgeries for children and adults, PhD in orthopedic and spinal surgery from Qasr Al-Aini Medical School, and an expert holding Canadian fellowship in corrective spinal surgeries for children and adolescents from the prestigious University of British Columbia.

Dr. Michael Atef graduated from medical school with highest honors and completed his residency in various orthopedic surgeries at Cairo hospitals. He then earned his Master's degree in Orthopedic Surgery from the Faculty of Medicine, Ain Shams University. Dr. Michael's passion for spinal surgery led him to continue his training in this field, particularly in complex spinal deformity surgeries, at Cairo hospitals. He subsequently joined the Junior Spinal Deformity Fellowship at the University of British Columbia in Canada, one of the few specialized surgical training programs worldwide for spinal deformity surgeries. He was the first Egyptian to participate in this prestigious program, where he performed over one hundred complex surgeries using the latest techniques to treat various spinal deformities.
He then obtained his Doctorate in Orthopedic and Spinal Surgery from the Faculty of Medicine, Kasr El Aini, Cairo University, with a dissertation on the use of endoscopy in lumbar disc herniation surgery. In addition to his passion for teaching and academic activities, Dr. Michael teaches at the Faculty of Medicine, University of British Columbia, Canada, and then teaches spinal surgery in the Department of Orthopedic Surgery at New Giza University. He also lectures on spinal surgery at local and international conferences.
Dr. Michael is distinguished by his excellent experience, spanning many years in the field of spinal surgery. He combines scientific expertise with high-level surgical skills. He also strives to continuously improve his medical and surgical services by using the latest technologies and providing the highest quality of healthcare.
